The Pickin'Art Platform

The Pickin'Art concept will allow artists to connect to a community of peers to discuss topics, share ideas and hopefully benefit from the experience of other artists. 

The idea is to create and foster a community of artists who can share their ideas, ask questions of their peers and gain insights into the commercial world of art trading that would otherwise not be possible in isolation. Furthermore we directly use this platform to help promote these artists and their work. It allows us to organize virtual exhibitions of their work and provides them with a sales channel into the market without any of the costs associated with traditional brick and mortar galleries.

Furthermore we provide an active sales channel into the market place. If you are having trouble selling your works, or simply don't enjoy that side of being an artist, then we can help you. By placing your original paintings for sale at Pickin'Art you will immediately have access to a huge customer base and a much greater chance of seeing that red dot next to your painting.

Pickin'Art is still a young community with big plans for the future. We are planning on launching a new special page and accounts for art dealers. The aim being to help dealers and galleries find new artists and vice versa, to help provide more information to artists searching for galleries suitable for their work. We also have plans to open an online magazine with contributions from our artist community, build an events list to help promote exhibitions, and many other social networking services. Pickin'Art is open to all artists. We do not charge you any subscription fees for displaying your work, nor do we keep you locked behind our doors once you do. If you upload your work we encourage you to leave your own website address or contact details where interested visitors can contact you directly. You are free to exhibit your work anywhere else you choose to and you keep full ownership rights over your work. Consider that this is the best possible way of gaining exposure for yourself. Today. And for free.

Those are the rules by which we play. Although we've started this business we have built it from an artist's perspective. If we, as artists (and we are) wouldn't be happy with the way its structured then we found another way of doing things that would. Everything we have built is to your advantage.
