Pickin'Art Shipping Policy

All shipping is the responsibility of the artist and (in the case of refunds) the customer (henceforth where appropriate referred to as the shipping party) and must comply with the Pickin’Art shipping policy. Should the shipping party fail to adhere to these policies they lose all rights and benefits we accord such as our guarantees, refund policies and timely payment assurances.  Pickin’Art reserves the right to alter or revise this policy at any time and without prior notification.

Although these conditions may sound harsh and are somewhat complicated at first they are not meant to be to the detriment of either our customers or artists. They are there to protect ourselves, our customers and our artists from potential fraudulent users of our services.  In every situation, we operate under a good will policy and do our very best to inform and notify every party involved of the following steps they may need to take during shipping and how to resolve any issues that may arise.

Our customers and our artists satisfaction is our greatest concern and we do all we can to ensure this throughout our sales and shipping process.  We also understand that unintentional mistakes do occur, both on your part and on occasion by the carrier used for shipping. As long as we do not have good reason that a transaction is fraudulent we will do our utmost best to resolve the issue to everyone’s satisfaction.

However as we represent both parties in a transaction and if a mistake does occur that we are, for whatever reason unable to resolve, then it is likely that the party having made the mistake is going to be the one most disappointed and upset. For this reason we encourage you to fully understand each step in our shipping procedures and, if we send you a mail notifying you of an action or choice you are required to make, that you fully read and properly understand its contents.

If you do have any questions regarding our shipping policy please contact us at support@pickinart.com

Shipping Guidelines

  • We provide guidelines however it is the responsibility of the shipping party to ensure that all goods to be shipped are properly packaged. The packaging must be sufficient quality to reasonable ensure that damage will not occur under normal shipping conditions. Packaging must also comply with the requirements of the carrier, such that if an insurance claim should be made there will be no complications.  If the carrier refuses to pay an insurance claim due to inadequate packaging it is at the shipping parties’ loss.
  • The shipping party must ensure all goods are shipped by insured and recorded delivery. The goods must be insured for at least the price at which they were brought/sold.
  •  The shipping party must send us the tracking number (via email or their account on Pickin’Art) on the same day as the goods are delivered to the courier.
  • Should the shipping party fail to insure the painting for the correct amount and the painting is damaged, they will not receive payment (for the artists) / refund (for buyers).
