Short Description
All the fun of the carnival comes tumbling down the street outside my Studio!
Artist's Comment
This is the most recent of quite a series of carnival / festival pictures that I've painted in recent years. The original of this one measures approximately 80 x 80 cms plus the frame. Creating these pieces makes a wonderful change from the land and seascape compositions that I produce most of the time and with each of them I've felt I want to give something back to the local community by running a benefit auction of the original painting online and in my home town during the festival week in July. So far it's reached only £200 this year and you can top this bid on my website. 32 x 32 cms framed prints of the picture are for sale here as well.
