The carnival-like procession strains upwards as well as onwards, seeming to reach towards the tops of the surrounding tall buildings and outshining them with its vivid colours.

I love the excitement of our Cornish town festivals as here (see also Lafrowda day in the dancers category). Making paintings from the inspiration they provide makes a welcome change from my work in the genres of landscape and seascape. I'm intending to auction this piece in aid of future festival funds so an alternative to buying it outright would be to place a bid through my website and you might just be lucky!
